He continued to say his mother was in high spirits, "After a short rough reaction to the first treatment, my tough dad papa was his old self eager to be the host and make everyone feel comfortable… we had to keep pushing him to sit down and take it easy."
Roloff thanked fans for their prayers and love while adding he would be leaving to allow his parents to finish a quieter and more peaceful recovery.
The 59-year-old shared a gallery of pictures, including a snap with his parents outdoors. Another shows Matt's son Zach and his 4-year-old child Jackson with the grandparents.
One shot displays Jackson posing for a solo snap while standing against the wall with a butterfly mural. Another shows a close-up of Matt and a family member.

Matt recently revealed his father Ron, 82, was diagnosed with cancer and his mother Peggy, 79, needs physical therapy after a “bad fall.”
He admitted it has been “truly scary” to watch his parents go through these “serious medical challenges.” Matt has been busy with many construction projects on the Roloff family farm as of late, including a new home for him and his partner Chandler.
However, he has had to put it all on hold to focus on his ailing parents. He shared the news about their health on social media with a photo of his lover, including Ron and Peggy.

Ron and Peggy made their “Little People, Big World” debut in the family reality show’s first season in 2006. However, they took some time off with their last credit appearance in 2014.
The couple has kept a low profile on social media, except for Peggy, who shares some of her painting projects and more family photos.
The pair once hinted that it might be because of the distance, the reason why they have not appeared on the show as much, since they reside in California and the rest of the family lives in Oregon.

In season eighteen's premiere episode of the TLC reality hit series, they may appear because of the new addition to the family.
In the episode titled "Four Generations of Roloffs," the family throws Zach a party to celebrate his first Father's Day after his wife Tori gave birth to their son Jackson on May 12, 2017, and Peggy and Ron join the festivities.
They also disappeared after their son Matt and former wife Amy separated and later divorced. Amy is now engaged to be married, and so are Matt and Chandler, even though his parents are giving him a hard time about it.
In March, the family learned the heartbreaking news that their daughter-in-law Tori suffered a miscarriage. The mom of two shared the news on social media.
"We were so excited when we found out we were expecting baby #3, and we couldn't wait to share. We went in for our first ultrasound at eight weeks and found that we lost our sweet baby two weeks earlier," she wrote at the time.
Tori continued to explain and said, "I've honestly never felt loss like I did at that moment. I've never felt so sad, angry, and scared in a single moment."
